Webinar - Back to the Future, Sustainable Illumination Beyond the Landfills

Monday, March 24, 2025 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Sustainable illumination involves developing lighting solutions that minimize environmental impact and reduce waste. Growing trends, demands, and future regulations for an economic system based on the reuse and regeneration of materials or products are advancing a shift in the lighting community. A circular economy for the LED luminaire industry is attainable through innovation and collaboration. A circular economy is a leading alternative to the traditional throwaway culture that has developed within the lighting industry. Instead, we can give value to waste by thinking differently.

Presenters:

Adam Chetakian, Chief Growth Officer & Co-Founder, APPRIME Lighting and Wes Fannin, President & Co-Founder, APPRIME Lighting

  1. Analyze the current state of sustainability in modern LED luminaires, including their environmental impact and energy efficiency.
