Artificial intelligence is changing multiple industries and will do so for ESCOs. This session aims to create a foundational understanding of what AI is and how it can be applied within the ESCO industry. This session will address the following:

• A fundamental overview of AI - What is it, how does it work, and what are the different types of AI?
• AI as applied to ESCOs - What are new capabilities that AI provides and how will those change parts of how ESCOs operate?
• Cautions and limitations - In adopting new technologies, what should ESCOs watch out for?
• Next horizon - As AI evolves and ESCOs apply it more fully, how will our industry evolve?
