Webinar - Understanding the People Problem with Advanced Control Systems (R3 Technical Session Rescheduled)

Monday, February 13, 2023 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) (EST)

Description

Advanced lighting systems are a fast-growing segment of the lighting market making it hard to get a handle on the various developments: new products in the market, what technologies are used, what capabilities they offer, and how they affect design and specification practice. This webinar addresses these issues, as well as overall market structure. Research conducted by Pacific Northwest National Lab for the Department of Energy has looked at a wide range of connected lighting systems, from simple products aiming for low cost and easy setup all the way to systems with significantly enhanced capabilities. Special consideration is given to capabilities for upgrading capabilities once systems are installed. The webinar surveys and analyzes products from both large and small manufacturers, highlighting system capabilities and distinctive features. This granular data forms the basis for characterizing the market.

Presented by: Ruth Taylor, Pacific Northwest National Lab
