After decades of lighting technologies based upon standardized components that fail (bulbs/lamps/ballasts), LED has been deployed in a way that is essentially unmaintainable except through replacement.  Learn how Circular Economy principles aim to change LED’s future.

Presenters: 

Paul Chamberlain, CEO, Linmore LED Labs, Inc. and Wes Fannin, Director of Strategic Sales & Innovation, Linmore LED Labs, Inc.

Learning Objectives:

1.  Analyze the difference between linear and circular lighting systems.

2. Evaluate lifecycle cost and embodied carbon impacts of retrofit versus full replacement.

3. Specify lighting systems that enable disassembly, modular upgrades, and extended service life.

4. Assess how circular lighting strategies that support sustainability goals and risk mitigation.
